AIEEE 2011 CUT OFFs & CLOSING RANKS

After the exam is over, the coaching institutes will publish the question paper solutions & answer key for different sets of papers. On the basis of the answer key, the students can arrive at the expected marks.

Thereafter they can make use of the last year’s cut off marks v/s ranks table to arrive at the probable rank. And finally, they can make use of the mock counseling tool to check the branch & institute they are likely to get.

Previous years cut off marks v/s ranks pattern:

( The table is based on previous years data with paper of 432 marks but this year the paper is said to be a maximum of 360 marks, so you have to make adjustments accordingly.)

So as per the answer key & marks v/s rank table analysis, if  your predicted rank is say 4000. you can then move on to “Mock Counseling” link where you should fill your required data like Exam Name, Quota whether All India or Home State, category whether General or reserved & your Rank & a list of your expected branches & institutes will be displayed. The list will be based on expected closing ranks for a particular institute & branch. A sample copy of the toll displaying cut off / closing ranks is shown hereunder:

Mock Counselling

Closing ranks are available on the website of exam conducting authority but in different formats & require lot of effort to check cut offs / closing ranks for each branch & institute. But here the whole data has been put in a single table & detailed list is available for a specific rank.
